OUR CURRENT PROJECTS

Working Together for Change

BRING MUSIC INTO
THE HOME FOR LITTLE WANDERERS!

We chose to partner with The Home because of its reputation of doing whatever it takes for the children it serves.

The Home has been caring for vulnerable children and families for more than 200 years and continues to serve children living with trauma and behavioral health needs.

We’re excited to add a music component to the services available to the children living at their group home programs.  Our staff will also identify those clients who present higher aptitude in music and will offer them specialized individual instruction.

BRING MUSIC INTO CENTRAL MASS ACADEMY

We were contacted by an educator with a request for programming within one of CMC's schools: Central Mass Academy.

We will meet this need by providing a trained instructor equipped with a curriculum adapted from the Massachusetts Curriculum Framework for the Arts.

Because of the unique population served in this project, the atmosphere of this program will be noticeably less formal than the traditional music class and will lean strongly towards presenting music as a tool for expression and a strategy for coping with emotions.
